Join the Advisory Board
This group consists of clients, parents, volunteers and staff. The Board was established to evaluate current events and research new event ideas, as well as, discuss strengths of the program and areas we might be able to improve. The Advisory Board also assists with fundraising for the program. The Board meets once a month and offers one or two year terms.
Role of A Volunteer
The role of a volunteer is to help members in the Adult Recreation program reach their highest potential. Volunteers work side by side with the members to help make this happen. Volunteers are needed to serve as instructors of classes, coaches or to assist on events. The program offers 50+ events each month including crafts, dinners, classes, Special Olympics, drama, book club, bowling and many more. No matter how often you are able to volunteer, your efforts positively impact the lives of the people who participate in the program. The gift of your time and talents are greatly appreciated.
