Every summer, our Employment Services team partners with high school students who are eager to jump-start their professional journeys. Thanks to the support and funding from Vocational Rehabilitation, these students participate in a six-week program designed to provide practical work experience and strengthen their soft skills.
This year, our dedicated SWE crew is hard at work at Schnucks in St. Peters, MO. They’re taking on different responsibilities, including collecting carts, bagging groceries, and returning items to their proper spots on the shelves. With a commitment of 20 hours per week, these students are not only fulfilling their job duties but also involved in activities to enhance their professionalism, teamwork, and communication skills.
We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the progress they are making. This program is a great opportunity for these young individuals to gain valuable experience and build a solid foundation for their future careers.
